Qualifications and skills: who is authorised, until when
A catalogue, an employees × skills matrix, alerts before expiry: compliance without spreadsheets or sticky notes.
Without a tool, this is what happens
A worker’s VCA safety certificate expired two months ago; nobody noticed before the audit.
A newcomer is driving the forklift, but is his certificate valid? The answer is in a binder, on another site.
The qualifications table is kept by hand by the QHSE manager, and every departure or hire makes it wrong.
What Senzy does
Your skills catalogue
Each skill has a name, a category, a regulatory flag and a default validity (from 1 to 120 months) that calculates the expiry of every acquisition.
The employees × skills matrix
An overview of the whole company: acquired, expiring soon, expired, revoked. Four counters filter the table with one click.
Assign without going through a training course
“Jean holds the VCA, valid until 12/03/2028” is recorded in a single entry, from the employee record or by bulk assignment to several people.
Skills required per resource
Flag a skill as required for a type of vehicle, device or equipment. Assigning a resource to someone who is not qualified shows a warning, and the override is recorded with its reason.
Alerts and deadlines
Expiries feed the Deadlines module, the dashboard timeline and the “Skill about to expire” email alert, on every plan.
The compliance report
Coverage per skill, expiries at 30, 60 and 90 days, active non-compliances, overrides in the last 90 days and gaps against job profiles.

Who sees what
Like every Senzy module, Qualifications and skills has its own access rights, set independently of the others: no access, “Self only”, view or modify. Users are unlimited on every plan.
The “Skills” permission is set separately: “View” gives the matrix and the catalogue, “Modify” adds assignment, renewal and revocation. Every employee can see their own skills from their record.

VCA, forklift licences, electrical qualifications and working at height: who may operate which machine, and until when.
Chemical product and aerial platform qualifications for teams spread across client sites, with a report ready for the audit.
Forklifts, overhead cranes and sensitive workstations: one required skill per machine, one warning for every non-compliant assignment.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the Maîtrise plan to track qualifications?
No. Skills and qualifications, expiry alerts and the compliance report are included in every plan. Only training management (catalogue, sessions, requests) starts with the Maîtrise plan.
Can Senzy prevent a machine from being assigned to someone who is not qualified?
Senzy warns without ever blocking: the assignment remains possible, but it records an override with its reason, its author and the state of the qualifications at the time, visible in the compliance report.
How is a qualification renewed?
By a manual renewal from the employee record, which adds a new acquisition and keeps the previous ones in the history, or, from the Maîtrise plan, by closing a training session.
What happens to a skill I delete from the catalogue?
A skill that is still referenced cannot be deleted: Senzy names what is blocking it and offers to deactivate it instead. It remains visible on the records that hold it, with a badge.
