Training management: catalogue, sessions, requests
From an employee’s request to the skill acquired: the full cycle of a training course, linked to qualifications.
Without a tool, this is what happens
A training request made verbally in a meeting, forgotten until the qualification expires.
The session took place, but who attended, and who passed? The certificates will arrive by post one day.
The catalogue of courses and training providers lives in the browser bookmarks of the person who looks after HR.
What Senzy does
Requests that follow a workflow
Any employee submits a request; the direct manager, a designated approver or an authorised user approves or rejects it with a visible reason. An approved request moves to “to schedule”.
Internal or external sessions
Schedule a session, on one or several dates, with its attendees, its provider and its cost. Choosing a course from the catalogue pre-fills everything, and everything stays editable.
Closure that creates the skills
Closing a session opens the attendees × skills matrix: each ticked box creates an acquisition dated on the day of the session, with its expiry calculated.
A catalogue and providers
Template courses with duration, cost, tags and skills conferred; training providers created on the fly from a session.
Linked to qualifications
From a non-compliance warning or a profile gap, a training request is created to fill the gap, and closing the session completes it automatically.
Reminders and feedback
Upcoming session, session to close, approved request to schedule: emails to the right people. Training feedback, with your own questions, can be switched on if you wish.

Who sees what
Like every Senzy module, Training management has its own access rights, set independently of the others: no access, “Self only”, view or modify. Users are unlimited on every plan.
Without rights on the module, an employee sees the sessions they attend and their own requests; a manager also sees those of their direct reports.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference with the Qualifications and skills module?
Qualifications (who holds what, until when) are included in every plan. Training management adds the organisation: requests, sessions, catalogue, providers. It starts with the Maîtrise plan.
Who approves a training request?
A user with the Modify right, otherwise the approvers designated in the settings, otherwise the requester’s direct manager. A rejection requires a reason, visible to the requester.
What happens if an attendee fails the exam?
At closure, untick the skills they did not acquire: only ticked boxes create an acquisition. An attendee with no skill ticked is marked as failed.
